After a year, I’m still in love with this slow cooker.
I have used this slow cooker at least weekly for the last year, and it has never let me down. I find the estimated cooking times to be accurate, and the warm option allows me to keep the food hot but not overcooked for several hours. The meats are very moist and tender! If I had to do it over again I would purchase a cooker that allowed me to set the temperature on high for a set period, then decrease the temperature to low for a set period, then default to low but this cooker is so great that I will not give it up to gain that advantage. I highly recommend it.
This crock pot is loyal
Love this slow cooker. After my boyfriend left me and took our pet dog I’m cooking for one. As a result, I can cook a week’s worth of pitiful, nutritious meals on Sunday all day, and eat the same thing all week long in my crappy one-room apartment. Great investment. Hopefully the crock pot won’t leave me, too.

Great for a Small Family
I bought this size because it’s just “me” and I don’t need to cook for an army anymore. I still love coming home to dinner being ready, like the chief was there cooking all day. Open the door to your home, and the aroma is so inviting. Grab a salad and a glass of wine, and “dinner is served”. This is definitely the best slow cooker I’ve ever had, including the 12 and 16 qt sizes I used to use when I did have a large family. The ceramic crock pot liner is a breeze to clean, the controls are accurate, and I love the rubber seal because nothing escapes during the cooking process. It’s definitely large enough to cook a whole chicken or a medium roast. Also, you can make the lid lock down (for traveling only, not cooking) when you want to take it to someone’s home with your meal already cooked. I’ve never had anything spill out or drip.
It’s a really great slow cooker, and I’ve given several as wedding gifts. The price is good and the brides seem love it…

Cook Slow, Sweet Crockpot!
Works better than my expensive slow cooker
This slow cooker is designed very well. The heavy black crock on the inside is removable and easy to clean. The glass lid has a rubberized edging, which makes it easy to sit it on top of the crock without the clanging noise. I love the added carrying strap to keep the lid on when in transit. The vent in the top of the crock is great for using a meat thermometer, and lets steam out. The “keep warm” feature is also a plus. Overall, a very good value for a good slow cooker. In the winter, I use it as a cheap humidifier, to add humidity to the air. I add a few drops of essential oil (spearmint or cinnamon) and fill it to half full with water and leave it on the stay warm feature all day long. I can notice a difference in the air.

Cooking is fast but still leaves meat very tender!
I use this for everything. Pork Chops, Ribs, Roast and chicken.. Everything has been perfect. never has the bottom burned. Love the lid pick up and place in refrig.. Heat it up the next day on low for an hour or two and it is just like you just made it. My kids hate leftovers so I trick them.. I would Highly recommend!

No spills even on hills and twisties!!
This cooker did not fail with my Chili which I make a little thin so that cracker lovers have some soup, it kept its composure quite well and didn’t spill a drop (keep in mind I was driving up 45 degree hills and speeding to make it on time).
I use this almost daily, love the special feature!
When I found this slow cooker, I bought it because of its large capacity and low technology. What I was not expecting was the awesome feature of the clamp down lid.
WOW, what an amazing difference in the cooking!! The lid clamps down to help with transporting food, which is a nice feature but the real hidden beauty is that works almost like a pressure cooker when the lid is clamped down. You get much more even cooking with roasts and I believe more infused flavor into the meat.
